When I lecture to groups about the basics of Wills and Power of Attorneys I learn that many elderly people have their legal documents in place, but they fail to tell their children about their plans.

I meet young adults who are trying to care for one or even two parents and have not discussed their parent’s final wishes because no one wants to think about this subject.
